The OMT FAQ booklet was created under the auspices of the Myofunctional Therapy Committee of the Brazilian Speech Society, the AOMT, and the Academy of Applied Myofunctional Sciences, with the participation of many on a scientific committee over the course of a few years to make sure we had surveyed the most commonly asked questions, had evidence based answers, and had clarity over definitions, terms, and descriptions that was validated by leading researchers, instructors, and public health specialists in the field.
